When I think of my favorite children's book I go back to my own childhood. The first book that comes to mind is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I remember loving this as a child because of the bright beautiful colors in the book. The colors caught my attention and made learning the alphabet fun and memorable. I do believe that when children are learning hard concepts it is always good to incorporate a fun concept to help the concept stick in their minds.
Course Resources
This book is an excellent resource for those who will be teaching or even being a mentor to a child with disabilities. It gives you a step by step approach on how to handle certain situations and how to have an overall positive educational experience for the child. My mom introduced me to Dr. Spock who was at one point everyones favorite pediatrician. I do find that a lot of the lessons and tips that he gives are still valid to children today and will be a great resource to educators.

I love this book and so do the children, also after reading a few times I love playing the video version for the children they love singing the words and pointing out the letters that are in their names it's soooo cute!

Hi Amani, I enjoyed your blog. I too love reading this book to the children. I sometimes play the CD . The book is read by Ray Charles. It is a fun way to expose them to letters.
